We had most of yesterday free, so the guys scattered to the four winds to explore Buenos Aires. Guys went to museums, the zoo, a great bookstore, shopping for clothes for their girlfriends (bad idea), and lots of other places.
The Internet has been mostly non-functional in our hotel since we arrived. It was usually possible to pick up another signal in the lobby, so we often exhibited a large presence there. Technicians worked all day yesterday in repairs, and it finally started working again last night.
Poisoning pigeons in the park?
Don't worry, he didn't have to pay her too much...
In the early evening, we went to the church where we'll be singing tonight to meet a local choir, Camerata Exaudi. Our tour company invited them to participate in tonight's program. They'll sing a few songs before we begin, and then we'll combine forces for the encore, an Argentine folk song we've been singing all over town.
This photo is of a choral conductor's nightmare.
Figuring out how/where to stand, process, and recess is not one of my strengths. Fortunately, we have so many engineers in the group that multiple plans were forthcoming. Putting them into practice will take several days. Pray for us.
